Data Analytics Intern (~3 Month)

We are currently looking for a Data Analytics Intern to deliver best customer experience and generate operational efficiency. You will help the team develop reports and documentation that will enable our Operations to become more proactive in asset management. The tools you help develop will assist us in meet our science based targets, supporting the sustainable profitable growth in line with the division and region strategy for Specialty Rental North America. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation, allowing you to develop your skills and gain a deeper understanding of how data drives business success. Your mission consists of designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining systems and tools to provide meaningful information to the business and handling with the following responsibilities:

Data analysis: Develop and maintain data models, data flows, and data mappings to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions, being proactive and predicting maintenance of our machines.

Data visualization and reporting: Develop and deliver visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate data insights to stakeholders. Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to create interactive and user-friendly dashboards.

Data security and governance: Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR. Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, availability, and accuracy.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with District Managers, Customer Service Managers, Process Improvements Managers to understand data analytics needs and requirements. Translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver data-driven insights that drive business value.

Documentation & Training: Develop standard procedures for processes and reports that support the operations and fleet business. Give virtual and in-person training to all stakeholders.

Educational Requirements

• University degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understands customers’ needs and offer data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques (Azure, OneLake data environments preferred)
• Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, etc
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python, Java, SQL, and R, HTML, & Power BI (DAX & PowerQuery).
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Any experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, or advanced statistical analysis is a plus.
