Atlas Farm a 120-acre certified organic vegetable farm in Deerfield, MA. The farm has a region-wide reputation for top quality organic produce which is sold to wholesale customers throughout New England. Our goal is to provide our community with the freshest local produce possible, even in the depths of winter. To this end, we harvest from our fields and high tunnels during the spring, summer, and fall, and from our greenhouses in the winter. Atlas Farm strives to be a model of ecological food production. Atlas Farm is hiring for a produce delivery driver to start immediately. Responsibilities include delivering fresh produce to wholesale customers throughout Western Mass, Connecticut and Boston area deliveries. The normal weekly schedule is 5am-12pm Tues/Fri and 6am-12pm Weds/Sat for Western Mass and Connecticut routes, and 3:30am-1PM Tues/Wed/Fri/Sat and 6am-12pm Mon/Thurs for the Boston routes. The primary delivery truck is a 26' refrigerated box truck. Prior experience driving commercial trucks and handling fresh produce is required. CDL is desirable but not required.
