What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Site Maintenance Technician position at Atlas Organics?
The Jr. Site Maintenance Technician will assist the lead Site Tech with general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical projects/systems to maintain/improve compost manufacturing and site efficiency.
Key accountabilities include:
- Develop and implement a weekly cleaning schedule. Make sure the water system is tour-ready at all times.
- Support with maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all site infrastructure and systems (pump house(s) pumps, blowers, biofilters…).
- Responsible for miscellaneous areas, such water tanks, sediment trap, high and low air ponds, bio filters, and pump houses.
- Design and implement new systems.
- Support liquid customers with unloading and ensuring it goes to the correct location or tank(s).
Plumbing & electrical experience preferred, but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
