Full Job Description

From chopper pumps, centrifugal pumps, vfds, 75hp aeration blowers, wireless controls, single phase, three phase, and over 1.5 miles of underground piping this position plays a key role in maintaining and innovating a world class composting operations site . We are looking for a self-motivated and independent technician to maintain and expand our operations site in Dallesport, WA.

Preventative Maintenance - 15%

Following weekly/monthly site infrastructure checklist on all working systems, including greasing, trensioning, cleaning existing running systems

Maintenance - 40%

It’s a harsh environment in the composting world, with microbes that consume everything, and the environmental elements, mechanical systems wear out, get plugged, or simply fail, so unfortunately diagnosing and replacing components is common in our work environment.

Innovating and Constructing - 45%

Lets not have that system fail again, redesign and innovate is the solution, but don’t forget to Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS)

Qualifications

• Plumbing experience - Pumps, Industrial piping, irrigation piping

• Electrical experience - single phase, three phase, vfds, wireless controls

• Mechanical experience - Aeration fans, blower fans

• Welding experience beneficial

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
