Who You Are
Must be able to supervise CF-SLP
Master's in Speech and Language Pathology required.
Possess or be eligible for Colorado Special Providers License with Speech Language Pathologist Endorsement.
Candidate must be endorsed in the content area.
Knowledge of Colorado Severity Rating Scale.
Knowledge of augmentative communication devises.
Completion of an approved program or willing to enroll/complete an approved program in speech pathology form an accredited institution of higher education
Transcripts required.
Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required.
What You’ll Do
Works with K-12 students to prevent, screen, identify, assess, diagnose, refer, provide intervention
Counsel students with, or who are at risk for, articulation, fluency, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and other related disabilities
Will employ intervention strategies and support students throughout their learning cycles
Advising and working with Atlas educators and administrators
Ensures that students’ communication challenges are addressed holistically with an overall goal to not disrupt any learning
Essential Job Functions
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed.
Compensation & Schedule
$75,504- $88,898 annual salary
Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
