A large and established medical network in Westchester working to provide excellent care services is currently seeking Registration Representatives/Medical Admins for a 10 week assignment. You will be tasked with interviewing patients for admission, accurately entering/updating insurance information, and handling incoming calls promptly.

The base pay range for this position is $20 to $22 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer. This is a temp-to-perm assignment ; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you fully transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview the patient/patient reps for admission and services.
  • Accurately enter patient data/info and medical insurance.
  • Notify insurance companies of Admissions/Outpatient services.
  • Obtain signatures for insurance assignments and guarantor statements.
  • Responsible for timely data entry and changes to patient information when required.
  • Able to collect all required payments at point of service.
  • Process and submit payments for posting to the Financial Counselor.
  • Must handle answering telephones promptly, efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Healthcare experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
  • Medical insurance experience, preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED, required; bachelors, preferred.
