Objective : In this position you will prepare laundry facility orders for existing customers. Utilizing all types of building materials such as plumbing, electrical, assembly, panel construction, and measuring.
Container Assembly Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of duties associated with the construction of military shelters
- Plumbing, Electrical and assembly
- Blueprint reading
- Use a tape measure
- Have the ability to use hand and power tools
- Engage in dynamic standing for 8-10 hours per day
- Proficiently assemble products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
- Coordinates with production planners and supervision to insure timely completion of production orders
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.
- Enforces safety rules and conducts safety inspections of area of responsibility.
- Responsible for 5S and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance assembly processes, productivity, and efficiency.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, and other departments to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns.
- Able to check parts to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Container Assembly Minimum Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High attention to detail
- Plumbing or construction background required
- Electrical experience required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Mastery of hand and power tools commonly used in assembly processes.
- Experience with various assembly techniques, including soldering, welding, riveting, and fastening.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of assembly equipment and machinery.
- Several years of experience in manufacturing or assembly roles, preferably in a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex assembly tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Experience with quality control processes and techniques to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Understanding of manufacturing principles and processes, including lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations relevant to the products being assembled.
Shift : Monday Friday 5 : 00am 2 : 30pm
Wage : $21-$25 / hour
