Atlas Staffing is seeking a Fabrication Shop Hand for a design company. As a shop laborer, you will be supporting fabricators working with a variety of materials (vinyl, plastics, wood, aluminum) using table saws, miter saws, CNC routers and laser engravers.
If you have a general understanding of the industry’s tools, equipment, table saws, forklift, and computers that control routers, and are interested in growing your skills in custom design, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Assist fabricators in creating displays, signage and custom wraps
Load displays for road shows and participate in installation at client locations
Readily help other departments after completing tasks
Requirements
Problem solving and mechanical aptitude is a must.
Basic math skills, as well as great oral and written communication skills.
Previous manufacturing and installation work experience preferred.
Able to read a tape measure accurately
Attention to detail in repetitive tasks
Willing to grow in multiple disciplines and work in different departments.
Forklift experience preferred
Valid Drivers license
Punctuality and a clean professional appearance required as installations require working directly with clients.
Wage : $17.00
Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00 pm
