Inventory Cycle Counter.

Atlas Staffing is looking for talented individuals with a high attention to detail to join a large grocery distribution center as an Inventory Cycle Counter.

Objective : Conducts physical inventory counts and warehouse case maintenance. Researches, reports discrepancies and prepares weekly reports.

Responsibilities :

Compares and reconciles physical inventory counts to those maintained in the inventory system

Reconciles physical and financial inventories in LCS

Monitors chargeback, RTV and store return activity

Completes research to determine reason why pallets cannot be slotted by the inventory system

Completes necessary system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountability

Completes warehouse case maintenance (physically measuring case dimensions, verifying slot heights and performing necessary computer entries)

Making entries for store returns and printing various related reports

Verify total case count assembled by warehouse assemblers to store invoice when applicable

Reports discrepancies to warehouse supervisor

Recap audit results for weekly reporting

Requirements and Physical Working Conditions :

Inventory counting experience in a grocery and / or production environment

Auditing experience

Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in counting product with multiple layers and varying cases per layer

Possess excellent math skills, figure aptitude and 10-key calculator skills

Good telephone and organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk to various locations within the warehouse facility, move rapidly, end, stoop, and twist and turn frequently.

Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are necessary

Some lifting of product cases required (up to 50 lbs)

Temperatures in the warehouse may vary between -5 to 70 degrees. Experience working in cold environments.

Possess good oral and written communications skills internally as well as with vendors

Stamina for working in a warehouse environment for long hours on your feet.

Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.

Work environment is hectic and fast paced.

Schedule : 3 : 00 PM to 1 : 30 AM

Please note : You must be available to work any day of the week.

The initial training will be 2-4 weeks, at 4-5 days per weeks (10 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM / 9 : 00 PM)

Wage : $18.00-$19.00 / hr. DOE
