Operations Analyst I is an entry-level position open in our Finance department. This individual will be highly analytical and motivated with experience using financial analysis, simulation, and optimization to develop practical solutions that drive results. They will gather information by interviewing employees, reading reports, and combing computer databases to determine which data is relevant and what methods should be used to analyze.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops annual & ad hoc project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs.
Manage client invoicing and accounts receivable
Interacts with various levels of business line management to gather report requirements and generate supporting documentation to fulfill requests.
Accomplishes business objectives by identifying and solving customer information and processing problems.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Interacts with various levels of client business to manage and answer billing questions
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals as needed.
Attends and hosts meetings with business line management and follows up as needed.
Participates in client review meetings
Tracks report requests and provide status updates.
Job Requirements: Knowledge/Experience:
Financially focused work experience
Financial analysis and operational reporting experience
Superb analytical ability and thorough knowledge of financial concepts and financial ratios about profitability
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with Oracle/Essbase is very beneficial
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Knowledge of real estate development is a major plus
Skills:
Understanding of financial reports and forecasting
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel;
Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
Ability to analyze processes and develop valid solutions to resolve issues at hand
Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multitasked environment
A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to learn and adapt to change
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Excellent judgment, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Physical:
Must be comfortable with sitting for 6-8 hours in front of a computer.
Must be capable of lifting to 50 pounds up and over their head.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License, be insured by the company, and be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.
Must be able to travel.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
