You will play a foundation role in the development of exciting new products that support the interactions between all Atlassians and their leaders, ExecOps, and people support partners
Responsibilities:You’ll be managing a team of designers, creating tools for Atlassian employees
You’ll support them in driving quality, consistency and great user experiences.
Lead and inspire a hard-working team of design and content design in the US.
With a passion for developing others, you'll mentor and encourage your team towards success and cohesion
Being a role-model for cross functional collaboration, facilitation and presentation is a key part of the role.
Provide cross-craft teams with the mentoring, direction, leadership, and support vital to envision and ship specific projects with a user focus
If You Have These Skills, Even Better
Experience in internal tooling for Enterprises
Experience with Lean UX and rapid delivery
An interest in team-building
A healthy tolerance for ambiguity
Your background:
Previous experience of having led design teams on project-based work on internal systems
The ability to partner across orgs, functions, and processes to deliver coherent meaningful customer experiences
Phenomenal facilitation skills and a track record of collaborating with other functions, like Engineering, Product Management, and HR
The ability to communicate clearly and have a high degree of influence with all kinds of internal partners, including senior leadership
The drive and ability to step into the customer's shoes to ensure customer centricity, whether that customer is internal or external
Technical acumen at all levels of the tech stack
9 years of UX/product design experience, fuelled by experience with user-centered design.
Experience with balancing the big picture with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation At Atlassian
We strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $188,800 - $251,700
Zone B: $169,900 - $226,500
Zone C: $156,700 - $208,900
