Description
Atmore is looking for individuals who have basic knowledge of construction plus the desire and the willingless to learn. Prospective individuals must work with subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Project manager shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Basic Knowledge of construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
- Self-motivated, problem solver with strong organization skills.
Day to Day Functions
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion
- Communicate with project team regarding scope of work and Material orders.
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
- Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work
- Create 2 week look ahead schedule for distribution to subcontractors to ensure construction is moving according to master project schedule
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite
- Assist in obtaining permits and coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
- Track all project inspections to final Certificate of Occupancy
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
- Identify conflicts or scope gaps in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution
