Job Summary
The Sales Support position provides support for Atomic Data’s sales team, by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing functions such as preparing correspondence, eQuotes, arranging conference calls, managing our CRM, and scheduling meetings. Ideal candidates have excellent customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Essential Functions
- Optimize sales team time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications qualifications
- Facilitate sales handoff to billing/accounting
- Manage contracts, warranties, purchasing, products and service orders for clients
- Coordinate and organize projects and tasks in Autotask database
- Assist in preparing and running reports for data analysis
- Perform administrative and office management duties, such as: welcomes guests, customers, and vendors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries
- Oversee product inventory
- Manage & maintain Autotask CRM
- Manage Hardware and Software Warranty and renewals
- Process sales quotes
- Filing (electronically and paper files) client order and contract documents
- Assist with organizing special events and on-going scheduled events as needed
- Attend to obligations and supports other company initiatives as directed
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales experience and/or experience supporting administrative or customer service role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Information Systems Management (Preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook, and Acrobat
- Highly organized; ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing work environment
- Exercise attention to detail; ability to proofread and edit documents and ensure that all products are professional
- Proficiency working with confidential and/or sensitive information and ability to use diplomacy in communicating with high-level executives and management teams
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from Atomic Data’s facilities and client sites as needed
