Your Strengths:
  • Experience. 5 years of Growth in a high-growth consumer company. 
  • Execution. You’re a master of execution.  You successfully spec, ship, test and iterate campaigns to improve our growth rate.  
  • Problem Solving. You define the important problems to solve. You can figure out solutions to solve them.  You know success metrics keep you honest on if you’re making progress. 
  • You know your numbers. You know the power of tracking and analytics.  You understand what tools to use and how to track events to give the data you need to make decisions. 
  • Growth Strategy. You’re able to deftly move from big picture company growth strategy to the specific tactics we need to implement over the next 8 sprints.  You are able to work closely with Growth Marketing and Content to achieve shared goals.
  • Customer empathy. You love talking with customers.  You’re able to empathize and get to the root cause of their pain points.  You’re able to define customer problem and make improvements to product.
  • Team building. You’ll build a team. 


What You Will Do:
  • You’ll create our growth strategy. You’ll take us from Series A to IPO.  You’ll know what we need to nail now, and what we can push off to next year. You’ll know when we hit a surmountable speed bump, and when we need to go back to the drawing board. You’ll be able to clearly explain the strategy and rationale.
  • You’ll craft our message. You’ll talk with customers. You’ll understand the different types of users. You’ll know for who the product works now, and for who a year from now. You’ll refine our positioning and messaging. 
  • You’ll build our growth engine. You’ll design and build our customer acquisition engine.  You’ll optimize funnel/lifecycle marketing across all channels. You’ll master all the core Performance Marketing channels and discover new ones for us. 
  • You’ll perfect our acquisition funnels. You ensure that sign-up flows are simple to understand and frictionlessly.  You’ll continue to optimize these funnels to maximize our growth. You’ll build tracking and analytics infrastructure to analyze performance, refine customer segmentation, and track marketing channels/efforts
  • You’ll work with Brand & Content. You’ll work with the Brand/Content team to turn content into one of our leading acquisition channels. 
  • You’ll become an expert on new social channels. You’ll create winning TikTok campaigns.  You’ll develop ‘Influencers’ into a viable and effective acquisition channel.  
  • You’ll make friends with other companies. You’ll develop and execute our partnership strategy
