Software Developer
Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX.
Provide Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) expertise in design, development, deployment of ETL solutions to load the Enterprise Data Warehouse (staging of data, ODS data integration, EDW and data marts) and perform Data Security (Data archival, Data obfuscation, etc.) projects using Informatica tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Power Exchange, IDQ).
Build ETL solutions utilizing extensive hands on experience with PowerCenter tool Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manger and Workflow Monitor.
Design, develop, evolve ETL solutions and implement data integration, data conversion, data migration projects by integrating third party data to existing Datawarehouse or DataMart with ERP system (SAP, JDEdwards - Enterprise One) and CRM tools (Siebel, Salesforce-Servicemax).
Translate requirements into technical solutions, High Level Design, and Low Level Design documents.
Create reports from Cognos, Crystal Reports reporting tools
Perform cloud Implementation across AWS cloud environments.
Design and deploy AWS Services such as Elastic Compute (EC2), DynamoDB, SNS, Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier and AWS Storage Gateway).
Leverage experience and knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.
Identify business user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods for an effective designing, development and implementation of the project.
Deploy and deliver the requirements of the projects utilizing knowledge of software development processes and project management methodologies.
Perform and provide guidance on exhaustive Unit and Integrations testing, maintain detailed project and process documentation.
Ensure delivery of quality standards by adhering to Data Warehousing best practices.
Build, test, and maintain cloud-based data structures such as data marts, data warehouses, and data pipelines to acquire, profile, cleanse, consolidate, transform, and integrate data.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related, and Five (5) years of IT experience, or related.
Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Informatica PowerCenter; SQL/PLSQL; UNIX; Control-M; Oracle; XML; Shell Scripting; and Agile.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept no degree and Seven (7) years of IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
Reports to company headquarters in Irving TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
