As a member of the government contracts management team, you will perform the following:
· Develop and analyze estimates of labor, subcontractors, material, equipment, service, production, and other direct costs to support the company’s competitive business pursuits.
· Prepare pricing models in accordance with customer Request for Proposal instructions and company requirements for inclusion in cost proposal submissions.
· Collect and analyze external secondary data to support and validate cost estimates and pricing models.
· Analyze/interpret solicitations to ensure compliance with proposal requirements, internal organizational cost estimating requirements, and compliance with Government regulations.
· Support the development of written cost and price narratives for inclusion in proposal submissions.
· Provide direct support to the development and presentation of pricing strategies, business cases, profitability analyses, and financial models for existing and new business opportunities to mitigate any potential risks to the company.
· Conduct research and analysis of awarded contracts and other publicly available information on Federal opportunities and the Federal market to inform Price to Win discussions.
· Provide pricing/data call direction to subcontractors on proposal teams.
Minimum Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. citizen and be willing and able to obtain a U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
· 5 years of experience reviewing U.S. Government Requests for Proposals, developing well-ordered pricing models, cost estimates, and profitability analyses, and preparing cost and price narratives for large, federally funded proposals in the defense and intelligence industries.
· Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, Truth in Negotiations Act, and Cost Accounting Standards.
· Must possess expert-level knowledge of MS Excel!
Preferred Qualifications:
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills.
· Experience in developing cost and price volumes for government contract proposals is a big plus.
· Current/active TS/SCI security clearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
