Overview
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit programs of the organization including eligibility and enrollment, claim support, and interaction with our various third party vendors. The Benefits Specialist provides expertise regarding our benefit plans for the organization, offering support to individual employees, department leaders, and the other Human Resources team members. Presentation of the organization’s benefit plans during each bi-weekly new hire orientation, during annual enrollment and to newly acquired groups is a major function of this role.
What is required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Two years experience in employee benefits, preferably in a health care environment.
