Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110,000 – $120,000
Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the monthly financial close for the company’s international operations. The ideal Accounting Manager must ensure continued compliance with US GAAP and satisfaction of SOX internal controls.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Oversee the company’s revenue recognition process (ASC 606) as it pertains to international client transactions
- Prepare annual budget and subsequent interim forecasts in collaboration with senior management
- Maintain several financial reports, including a detailed revenue pipeline, to analyze operational performance and measure outlook
- Identify income statement performance variances against expectations and collaborate with the FP&A team in compiling insightful commentary for senior management
- Oversee various accounting functions including international accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and others
- Assist throughout SOX control testing and year-end audits administered by the company’s publicly traded parent company
- Play a critical role in assisting with annual international statutory audits, tax return filings, and local sales and use tax filings
- Assist in the implementation of a network-wide enterprise resource planning solution
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- 8 years of accounting experience and in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance (mix of public and private accounting experience preferred)
- Experience collaborating with client-facing teams
- Experience working with internal and external auditors
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
