Our client, a growing professional services organization with a driven, successful culture and room to grow is looking to add a Business Analyst to their Essex County location.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 - $90,000

Position Overview:

The Business Analyst will be actively involved in analysis pertaining to strategic business decisions across the entire organization. The Business Analyst will analyze and forecast KPIs.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

  • Utilize SQL queries and historical analysis to predict trends
  • Design Business Intelligence solutions to enhance strategic decision making
  • Gather and analyze KPI data, and generate reports utilizing SQL, Excel and Tableau
  • Enhance reporting for senior executives to be effectively used in anticipating business needs and in identifying trends and patterns

Qualifications for the Business Analyst:

  • 2 years in a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst role within a corporate environment
  • 2 years experience using SQL in a corporate setting
  • Tableau experience is preferred
  • Advanced Excel experience with BI systems/tools/processes a big plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics is required
  • Advanced degree is a plus but is not required
