Job Description
This position can be executed from Warren MI, Greenville SC, or Bessemer AL.
Required Duties
Compose, edit and audit informative documents in order to help companies secure a client’s business. Write original content, edit documents and work with engineering staff on assembly of proposals providing details covering specific such as scope of work, scope delivery, implementation plans and schedules.
Specific Responsibilities
The following list are general responsibilities that are required but not limited for the position:
Assemble, edit, and review with engineering staff and department lead the formats for all required documentation which are part of proposals.
Must handle multiple revisions, edit and re-edit proposal sections as needed, and ensure that proposals maintain a consistent tone or voice.
Editing content for clarification and consistency
Create customer presentation.
Create internal presentation: bid approval, bid review, project kick off.
Follow up with legal department on status of NDA
Update timeline and approval documents,
Schedule bid reviews and bid approval meeting based on direction of the department lead.
Conduct research on supplier, vendors and customers.

Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
Report defect in any equipment or protective device
Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Traits:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented team player that possess strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong presentation skills
Must be able to meet deadlines and work both independently and in groups
Minimum Requirement:
2 year technical degree or equivalent
Strong typing skills
Must be able to use the complete Microsoft suite of software.
o Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts…)
o Power Point (slide shows, presentations, animations, charts…)
o MS project (edit and modify timelines)
Smart sheet (opportunity management, timeline management)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 two years’ “hands-on” experience in office environment or other.
