Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Shipping/Receiving Adminstrator to support our Marietta, GA Calibration office. This role will oversee the receipt and processing of incoming customer equipment to be calibrated, including verifying and documenting shipments, organizing equipment and ensuring equipment is staged in a secure and accessible manner. Additionally, this position will prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring equipment and documents are shipped and delivered on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming customer equipment deliveries from FedEx and UPS, scan and open packages to retrieve enclosed paperwork to properly log equipment into ATS’ computer system
- Perform logistics management operations by identifying customer equipment, collecting paperwork, and sorting equipment along with paperwork onto carts for additional processing by the Calibration Receiving team
- Set up new customers account in the database
- Ensure all client paperwork folders are accurate and up to date with all required documentation and forms needed by the calibration lab
- Work in Calibration Receiving researching equipment and customer information to accurately enter work order into the system
- Maintain reports, files, archive folders, records
- Prepare, package and ship customer calibrated equipment back to the customer within a time manner
- Must be a quick learner to become familiar with ATS internal systems and processes
- Knowledge of basic office machinery required – printer, fax, etc.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- Some experience in a customer service industry a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute
- Previous Data Entry experience a plus
- Experience supporting all levels of management
- Experience interacting with clients
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have attention to detail and desire for accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Able to handle multiple tasks at one given time and seamlessly jump from task to task
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a shipping and receiving
Work Conditions:
- Most of the time spent for this position will be in a warehouse that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- The remainder of the time will be spent in a climate-controlled office/calibration storeroom environment
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and maneuver up/down steps several times a day.
