Administrative Assistant - Intake Department

This is a hybrid position but must be located in or near Lakewood, NJ.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for various responsibilities that include but are not limited to collecting and organizing documents, submitting prior authorizations with insurance companies, handling re-authorization processes, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

  • The roles and responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant include:
  • All document collection,
  • Tracking down RXs from the clients’ pediatricians. ( this will include calling the doctor’s office directly)
  • Submitting Prior Authorizations to Insurance companies and following up on any outstanding prior authorization
  • Input of the IFSP/ IEP into CR.
  • Entering the clients into central reach and adding labels, and meta data.
  • Notifying client services that a client is ready to be seen.
  • Handling re-authorization
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address intake requirements effectively.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Intake department and other administrative teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and processes efficiently.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and exhibits excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
