Position Overview:
The BCBA conducts and supervises delivery of ABA therapy services to individuals with a diagnosis of autism. The BCBA is responsible for completing assessments, designing treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, supervising behavior technicians who are providing ABA services, and conducting parent training sessions. The BCBA may be requested to provide additional supervision to BaBA's, QBHP's, and students pursuing their degree in ABA.

Key Responsibilities
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
Completing client assessments, treatment plans and supervision sessions in a timely manner per BACB code standards and payer contractual requirements. Authorization requests must be completed timely to ensure there is not a lapse in client care.
Creating strong professional relationships with families, serving as the company assigned point person for clients. Expected to complete regular parent trainings per the company expectation.
Supervising behavior technicians which includes training, completing supervision sessions on assigned cases, providing both formal and informal feedback, including using staff feedback forms, get out of jail free cards and staff shout outs.
Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing client data. Modifying treatment plans, as indicated by client data.
Will communicate with client supports coordinators and case managers to review case and data.
Submitting complete and verified session notes and reports for billing per the company established timelines. Adhering to changes in deadlines that will arise due to holidays and the billing team's submission deadlines.
Maintain Google calendar for a 40-hour week schedule. Calendar expected to be kept in real-time with a detailed reflection of the employee's workday to ensure both safety and accountability measures.
Following quality monitoring processes to ascertain that clients are receiving services as outlined in their treatment plans and compliant with BACB code standards.
Complying with the organization's expectations related to productivity which includes billable time, supervision of QBHP's, students, RB's and behavior technicians.
Willing to provide ABA Therapy services when the scheduled technician is unable to do so or there is a staffing issue, as the schedule permits.
Attending and actively participating in monthly staff meetings, bi weekly clinical meetings and quarterly clinician meetings. Participating in assigned committees, meetings, projects, trainings, etc. as directed by members of the center lead team and / or senior leadership team.
Performing your role with a strong focus on customer service and leading by example with staff, peers, clients, parents/guardians, and payers. This role must recognize that everyone is a customer.
Being a solution-focused problem solver while remaining calm when faced with stressful situations.
Willingness to share expertise and support to assist team members through difficult situations relating to assessments, parent trainings, supervision, etc.
Contributing team member of Attendant Care by following and implementing company-wide policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
Masters degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related discipline
Valid State of Michigan Drivers license and current auto insurance
Minimum of 1 year experience in working with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities
Ability to communicate effectively, with strong teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to handle stress and be flexible and adaptable
