In this position you will:
- Provide athletic training services within scope of practice as outlined by the Board of Certification (BOC)
- Collaborate with patient, parent/guardian, healthcare teams and other providers to provide patient centered care
- Work with a supportive ATvantage Staff and Athletics Administration to provide service in the Secondary School Setting
- Practice athletic healthcare to patients/student-athletes as appropriate
- including but not limited to wellness protection, prevention, assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and administration of sport related injuries and illnesses
- Organize comprehensive health and treatment plans for participants of multiple sports
- Perform general health and physical evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation services
- Work with adolescent athletes and should feel comfortable doing so
- Be competent as a skilled, confident, and engaging Certified Athletic Trainer who will work onsite at a high school athletic training facility
