We are hiring a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional. The paraprofessional shall be working with students who requires a behavioral aide who can also provide academic support.

Responsibilities - Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide:
  • Assist student in virtual sessions and help to complete work assigned by the teachers.
  • Track student progress and create reports for the student support team’s review.
  • Understand what the child is accomplishing academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Act as a nurturing and encouraging influence.
  • Monitor the student and minimize distractions and disruption.
  • Respond to behavior crises which includes engaging in verbal de-escalation and physical restraint/seclusion in emergency situations;
  • Services with student/school specific assignments.

    Qualification required - Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide:
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree
  • Experience working as a teacher’s aide, teacher, or paraprofessional
  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and emotional maturity.
