•Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
•Valid Michigan teaching certificate with special education endorsement
•1 years teaching experience with special needs kids
Responsibilities:
•Highly proficient in subject areas of reasoning, problem solving, organizational dynamics and emotional intelligence.
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
•Designing Individualized Educational Plans
•Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students’ progress
•Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.
