Roles and Responsibilities:
The duties of an LPN in long term care include providing essential health care, performing routine examinations and assessments, providing social and recreational activities, and providing assistance with personal care. LPNs in long term care must have a valid license to practice in the state in which they are working.
The duty is to provide care and support to residents in a manner that ensures their welfare. This includes ensuring that the resident is safe, participating in the resident’s care and assistance, and ensuring that the resident’s needs are met. In addition to providing care and support, lpn in long term care duty is also responsible for maintaining the residence and its furnishings.
The duty is to provide personal care and assistance to residents in their homes or in institutions. The LPN must be competent in the administration of medication and have knowledge of health and nutrition. They must be able to work independently and be able to read and write.
The duty is essential to the safety and well being of residents. Residents receive comprehensive care in a comfortable setting, with a staff that is knowledgeable and experienced in providing long term care. Long term care nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive care to residents in a setting that is comfortable, safe and conducive to their well-being.
