Role Summary:
Join our team as a Back Server and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge du Soleil family, you will be responsible for, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding and memorable dining experience for each guest.
Pay Range:
$28 - $38 / hour (this includes the hourly rate tips and is an estimate based on business)
Key Responsibilities:
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
Breakfast Server
- Promptly takes orders and delivers requested items in an efficient and timely manner as per company standards
- Engage with guests regarding needs and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
- Comply with all Forbes standards, consistently working towards elevating the guest experience
- Contribute to improving and enhancing the guest experience through knowledge of all breakfast menu items and heart-felt guest engagement
- Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature as required
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant service-related equipment and dining areas, ensuring the restaurant is organized and well-presented at all times
- Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Provide safe and responsible beverage service, as per Federal and State regulations, preventing any personal or company risk related to alcohol service
Back Server
Prepares necessary silverware and service items for each course, allowing for seamless transitions between multi-course menu offerings Assists dining room team members in delivering food to guests quickly and efficiently, ensuring the highest quality possible Assist Captain Server with guest-related service needs whenever necessary to ensure no gaps in service or food and beverage replenishments Prepare all service-related equipment and execute service for Canapé and Amuse courses Communicate with the Server Captain regarding adherence to any special requests, occasions, or dietary restrictions Performs all other service-related duties outlined by managementRequired Qualifications:
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
- Food Handler's Certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in full-service, fine dining restaurant
- Must be able to stand and work 8-hour shifts
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
- Must be available to work a minimum of two shifts per week
- Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work on a fast-paced team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at a luxury hospitality property
