Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations, working closely with pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician who is looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient medication inventory system, including order processing, restocking, and proper storage.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and actively participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential.
- State pharmacy technician licensure in good standing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems [if applicable].
