Job Summary
This position supports executing departmental projects, including successfully working independently on tasks. The incumbent coordinates programs, events, initiatives, and projects to advance the unit’s mission and goals. Primary scope of responsibility will be within the Cross Cultural Center for Excellence subunit of the Office of Inclusion and Diversity.
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

Essential Functions
1. Coordinates departmental projects as assigned by the Office of Inclusion and Diversity supervisor.
2. Collects, develops, analyzes, and disseminates relevant materials.
3. Works in conjunction with Office of Inclusion and Diversity team members and/or student employees to support current programs, primarily within the Cross Cultural Center for Excellence.
4. Serves as point of contact on various initiatives as assigned.
5. Provides face-to-face support to students, student employees, and student groups.
6. Facilitates communication and networking among project participants and internal and external entities.
7. Attends related meetings and support committees and workgroups.
The successful candidate fosters a team-player attitude and is willing to interact with internal and external constituents, including administration, alumni, parents, students, and faculty. Additionally, the candidate will possess a strong understanding and enthusiasm for higher education and student support initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Four-year degree from an accredited institution

- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in student services, student support, and/or student affairs
- Experience with inclusion-related initiatives
