Job Summary | The Provost office at Auburn University seeks applicants for the role of a TES Desktop Support and Data Analyst. The individual selected for this role will assist in providing desktop support to the Provost Office IT supported departments as well as help support the OneAuburn initiative by performing data entry and Salesforce related activities. Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Essential Functions |
Compiles and maintains data to support planning and reporting, as well as to assist with decision making. |
Minimum Qualifications |
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 0 years of experience. Or Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience with desktop and mobile device support, operating systems, application software. Or High School Diploma with 8 years of experience with desktop and mobile device support, operating systems, application software. Proficiency with tools such as: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, and Zoom. |
Desired Qualifications | * Technology experience in ServiceNow, Salesforce, Endpoint Manager (InTune and/or JAMF), and/or Apple School/Business Manager. * Experience with IT Support in an enterprise environment. * Experience with an IT ticketing system. * Experience interfacing with senior executives. * Technical certifications such as: CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , any Microsoft or Apple certifications, and/or JAMF 100 or beyond certifications. |
