Overview:
WEEI-FM is seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Producer.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
- Operating of radio broadcasting console during a live/local show in addition to possible satellite and syndicated programming
- Monitoring of on-air content for content, quality and timeliness
- Coordinating commercial orders and execution with the help of sales and traffic departments
- Booking and coordinating guests
- Creating talk-show content
- Editing and recording sports and news related sound
- Writing of news/sports updates
- Assisting on-air talent in various ways during live situations and during post-production
- Social media posting and promotion
- Keeping of show logs
- Possible on-air contributions in a supporting role
- Possible on-location sound acquisition and producing
More About You:
- Knowledge of operating radio consoles and editing software is a must
- Knowledge and interest in Boston sports is also key
- A humble approach and a willingness to adapt will serve you well in this position
- Good wit and sense of humor is a plus, along with willingness to not take oneself too seriously
- Knowledge of music also a plus
- Knowledge of WEEI history is another bonus, along with familiarity with Boston and New England
