What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at Audubon Retirement Village?
The Transportation Certified Nursing Assistant, under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, provides transportation service for facility residents to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times and in accordance with the established policies, procedures and standards of CommCare Corporation, and any other tasks or responsibilities assigned or as required by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.
A. PERSONAL CARE/ TRANSPORT FUNCTIONS
1. Drive the facility van to transport residents to and from their medical appointments.
2. Assist in feeding of residents at mealtimes when in the facility as directed by the Director of Nursing.
3. Maintain safety and comfort of residents as much as possible during transportation.
4. Any other duties assigned by the director of Nursing Services.
5. Responsible for routine van maintenance and upkeep including scheduling of routine service check-ups. Reporting malfunction immediately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
