The Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the program meets objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and organisation structure. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. This role reports to the Transformation and Strategic Lead and will work closely with the Product Owner and Business Manager. Key Capabilities The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the change of this automation and transformation program, which will include communications and delivery of training. In addition, the Change Manager will: Lead change management activities Create actionable deliverables for the change management levers: communications plan, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan. Integrate change management activities into project plan Identify and manage anticipated resistance Consult and coach team leaders / managers as change advocates and leaders Ensure compliance with the relevant acts, regulations and policies Manage communication efforts Support training efforts Develop tools and templates to support change activity Co-ordinate efforts with other specialists and vendors Evaluate and ensure user readiness Track and report issues Complete change management impact assessments Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress Knowledge Skills and Abilities To be successful in this position you will have demonstrated experience in business transformation Change programs and projects, and relevant tertiary qualifications. You will have strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Knowledge of effective benefits realisation in transformational/automation programs Extensive experience within the banking and finance industry, ideally in a change management role Proven time management skills Problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Ability to work with the business in understanding needs, both current and future and providing appropriate solutions Knowledge and understanding of business applications and other supporting systems Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships Be professional, articulate, and able to contribute at a higher level Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise multiple concurrent tasks Excellent skills in Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization and greater proficiency of the program delivered changes that impact employees in the organisation.
