Key Responsibilities
- Legal Strategy and Counsel:
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with Augmentjobs’ business objectives.
- Provide expert legal advice to the executive team and senior management on a range of issues including corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and contract negotiation.
- Manage legal risks and issues, ensuring the company’s operations are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the legal department, including hiring and developing legal talent.
- Oversee the performance and development of legal staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Contract Management:
- Review, draft, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests.
- Ensure that all contracts are legally sound and aligned with company policies.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to legal standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations, transactions, and strategic initiatives.
- Litigation Management:
- Manage and oversee all legal disputes and litigation involving the company.

- Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a senior legal role, preferably within a corporate or legal department.
- Proven track record in managing complex legal issues, including contract negotiation, compliance, and litigation.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a legal team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management and stakeholders.
