The County of Augusta is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Secretary in the County Administration Office.
This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordinating with County departments on Freedom of Information Requests; oversight of a records retention program; assisting with grant and project filing, documentation and reports; providing administrative support services - screens visitors, telephone calls, incoming mail, schedules appointments. Work performed under the supervision of the Deputy County Administrator.
The preferred candidate will have graduated from high school with experience in customer service in an office setting; ability to operate standard office equipment; strong knowledge of Microsoft computer software products and ability to work with associates and the general public in a professional manner.
The hiring range is $38,755-$40,692 depending on qualifications. The County offers an excellent benefit package.
