What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Documentation Specialist position at Augusta Health Brand?
Team member will follow department processes and protocols to ensure correct workflow occurs and appropriate charges correlate with exams performed. Oversight in reports to ensure that reporting meets department TAT expectations and that documentation and follow up occurs in accordance with Compliance standards. Active management of low dose lung screening program patient follow up and reporting required. Management and completion of other assigned tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience
Radiology coding and/or billing experience preferred.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Medical terminology preferred.
