What will you do?
Aurecon is experiencing significant growth within our Precincts and Land Infrastructure service offering. At the heart of it, we are about connecting business strategy to assets. In these positions you will join our Land Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across the built environment, transport, land and water, energy and industrial and government with a particular focus on systems and networks that support cities and precincts.
You will manage and technically lead multidisciplinary precinct scale developments and possess a knowledge and understanding of sectors such as civil engineering, transport engineering, environment & planning, land use planning, infrastructure funding, future energy and smart cities, transport networks, ESD and resilient infrastructure.
You will be part of a team that seeks to coordinate and facilitate a ‘connected’ Aurecon, where you will draw upon you’re your own experience in civil engineering and land development with technical expertise of the business to facilitate our clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Leading the management and delivery of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure planning studies, in particular the planning and implementation of new Cities and Precincts by navigating them through early concept planning through approvals and into delivery/implementation.
- Collaboratively working with other parts of Aurecon as necessary to balance resourcing constraints and leverage Aurecon’s technical ability to deliver citywide infrastructure.
- Lead and develop relationships with a wide range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders in particular NSW Government, Utility authorities and Private developers/investors.
- We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.
- Help to grow our capability and reach in the precincts sector as part of our broader Land Infrastructure offering and developing a connected Aurecon
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging problems and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Project experience (suited to your career status) at all phases of a project's life cycle and particularly masterplaning, feasibility studies, infrastructure studies, technical management and Design Management.
- A client network aligned with your career status with strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated technical ability as a design manger across complex-multidisciplinary projects.
- As a senior member of the land infrastructure team, provide mentoring and support to foster ongoing capability building.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Project Management.
The role will support the NSW market with opportunities to assist and develop new business in other states and NZ. Successful candidates will be great all round communicators and problem solvers who are able to work on complex tasks across various sectors of the business while interacting with internal and external clients and dealing with middle to senior level professionals to form great relationships.
You will be responsible for engaging with clients and actively involved in business development and growing the Precincts sector within the business, drawing upon the technical expertise of Aurecon.
