I-9 Specialist – Job Description
Aureus, a leader in the medical staffing industry, is looking for a highly motivated individual who is well versed in healthcare staffing, compliance, and process management for the position of I-9 Specialist.
The I-9 Specialist will have a placement and/or sales background and will serve as a resource for questions I-9s. This person ensures all regulations surrounding I-9s and E-verify are fulfilled while providing white glove customer service. The candidate will be responsible for communication with contract staff to assist in process of I-9 completion.
Reports Directly to Manager of Clinical and Quality Services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review weekly start list to ensure I-9 completed
- If I-9 not complete, call contract staff to ensure completion within specified timeframe
- Communicates with Sales and Operations to ensure all aware of status for onboarding
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in I-9 compliance and management
- Strong team player and ability to work with others within and outside of team
- Must be highly computer literate, including strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to test and provide feedback for projects
- Ability to multi-task
- Great organizational skills
- Close attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines
- Able to manage a large and increasing workload
- Excellent communication and grammatical skills
- Ability to see entire picture of contract
- Take ownership of getting the job done
- Work closely with sales teams, contracted agencies, and management
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
