With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are currently searching for a Payroll Clerk to join our team at our Holmesville Plant in Holmesville, OH.
Responsibilities Overview:
- Reviewing time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile any discrepancies in the payroll
- Resolving any issues that employees may have with their timesheets or other payroll tasks
- Preparing and entering month-end journal entries
- Maintaining and submitting payroll for contractors
- Issuing and recording adjustments to pay related to any previous errors or retroactive increases
- Compiling statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts and submitting them to appropriate departments
- Maintaining and managing office supplies
- Managing and coordinating off-site file storage
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience as a Payroll Clerk
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Proficient organizational skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Experience using Office 365 products, including Teams
- Previous experience in the automotive sector
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce
