What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Worker / Mental Health Tech - Intake (Part-time or Per Diem) position at Aurora Charter Oak Behavioral Health Care?
We have a PM shift, part-time/per-diem Mental Health Worker position open in our Intake Department.
This position provides direct patient care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders. Field phone calls and routes calls as necessary. Accompany and transport patients as assigned. Clerical and administrative assignment to support patient care, department and other duties as assigned.
PM shift | Part-time or Per Diem | 8-hr shifts
Education & Experience:
· High school, GED or equivalent required
· Telephone etiquette and customer service skills by phone and face-to-face
· Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology preferred
· Basic knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology useful
· Hospital and/or psych experience preferred
· Ability to maintain confidential information
· Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision in this regard
· Current CPR. MAB to be obtained w/in 60 days of hire
