We’re searching for a Summer 2024 Intern for our Hardware Engineering Team.
We are searching for a motivated cross-functional engineer who can dive into understanding large scale systems and be hands-on to complete required tasks.
In this role, you will
- Support Electrical, Mechanical, and Software teams in the integration of various vehicle platforms.
- Create Architecture, System Interconnect, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Design and Prototype custom test setups and harnesses as required by different design teams.
- Support the design and assembly for Hardware-In-The-Loop solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Actively pursuing Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid EE fundamentals to include the ability to read and interpret schematics and/or harness drawings.
- Strong hands-on skills to include circuit and/or harness prototyping.
- Ability to operate and use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other test equipment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with automotive system prototyping and development.
Hourly Rate
The base hourly pay rate for this internship is as follows:
$47.00 per hour for interns pursuing an undergraduate degree;
$51.50 per hour for interns pursuing a master’s degree; and
$64.00 per hour for interns pursuing a doctoral degree.
Interns must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship. Aurora does not offer J-1 visa sponsorship for interns.
