We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team in the Saw Department. The ideal candidate for this position will have basic computer knowledge, the ability to read a tape measure, and have forklift experience. Blueprint knowledge is not required, but would be a benefit.
Job Description:
- Operate a Table Saw or Chop Saw
- Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives.
- Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal ATI practices.
- Support all 6S and lean initiatives.
- Report any issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her duties.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Must possess basic computer operation skills
- Can read tape measures, calipers, and other
- Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
- Blueprint reading experienced is preferred, but not required
- Some experience in manufacturing
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
- Ability to bend and squat
- Ability to work in an environment without a controlled temperature
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
