Essential Function:
The function of the assistant territory manager is to provide direct support to our sales team. In addition, assistant territory managers will work in conjunction with the Sales Department to satisfy the timely completion of sales related activities to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. You will perform a variety of sales related tasks as well as interact with a wide spectrum of people throughout the workday. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Territory Managers with sales support tasks
- Ensure Outdoor Idea Center is up to date with signage and upkeep
- Work with the sales department to create samples and mock-ups for large residential and commercial projects
- Provide sales assistance to customers both on the phone and in person at our Outdoor Idea Center
- Travel throughout Unilock Midwest business region as required to complete job functions
- Organize paver sample area and ensure it is fully stocked and organized
- All other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Superior listening skills
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads of up to 70 pounds etc.)
- A Bilingual (Spanish) individual that can communicate both verbally and written is highly sought after, but not required
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- College degree preferred
- Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment (training available)
- Previous experience, in hardscape industry, preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean & safe driving record
