What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scientist 3 position at Aurum Data Solutions?
Job Description
Position: Scientist 3 – (Mass Spectrometry - Proteomics)
Department: BioAnalytical Sciences- Assay Development & Technology
Contract: Long term Contract
The Position
The BAS/Assay Development & Technology (ADT) department is seeking a highly motivated Scientist 3 to support Fab, antibody, antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and other complex biotherapeutic projects in research and development through implementation of our MHC-associated peptide proteomics workflow for immunogenicity risk assessment. This individual will explore immuno-capture and mass spectrometry-based methods to support immunogenicity risk assessment of various biotherapeutics in preclinical and clinical development. The individual may also collaboratively develop and execute mass spectrometry-based proteomic workflows including sample preparation, LC-MS data acquisition, and novel data analysis approaches. Responsibilities of this laboratory-based position will include preparation of samples from primary cells and in vitro human cell lines for immunopeptidomics profiling and assessment and protein quantification. The candidate will be involved in non-GLP sample analysis and data reporting. The individual will work independently and in collaboration with colleagues within BAS/ADT and across various functional areas. The candidate may also be involved in evaluating and exploring innovative technologies.
