Restaurant Bartending Supervisor

Austin Country Club is currently hiring for a full-time Restaurant Bartending Supervisor to lead and motivate a hospitality team of fellow servers, bartenders, and hostesses in the Austin, TX area. This head bartender position earns a competitive wage of $17/hour, plus a service charge. The service charge equals 18% of your food and beverage sales as well as 6% of your outlet alcohol sales.

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time head bartender position with our hospitality team works a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

As a Restaurant Bartending Supervisor with our hospitality team, you are responsible for directing a team of other bartenders and servers as well as ensuring that our bar is always well-stocked with our liquor, beer, and wine options. You assist with menu creation and implementation as well as prepare garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks. Prior to opening, you inspect the bar and check our inventory to ensure we have an adequate amount of supplies. You also assist with weekly beverage ordering and request additional supplies as needed when materials run low.

In addition, you support other team members and managers to uphold our high standards of premium guest services. You help our members and guests select food and beverage options from our menu as requested. Throughout your shift, you mix, prepare, and serve drinks. Using your exceptional organizational skills, you keep the bar area clean as well as ensure that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards. Whenever issues or complaints from guests arise, you promptly take action to resolve the problem, informing management when needed.

At the end of your shift, you clean the bar area while following procedures and lock up when finished. You attend staff meetings and training when required to ensure that you stay up to date on information pertaining to our country club and your job. REQUIREMENTS FOR A RESTAURANT BARTENDING SUPERVISOR

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience working in a restaurant or as a bartender or barista
• Deep knowledge about beer, wine, and liquor
• Ability to create classic and craft cocktails
