What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher/Laborer position at Austin Industrial?
A Civil Worker uses machines, equipment, tools and blowtorches on construction projects. In this role, you must understand the construction process and how the tools are used to complete various jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mandatory - must be able to build concrete forms.
- Mandatory - must be able to lay concrete block to build buildings.
- Operate mobile motorized vehicles and motorized equipment, as required and trained.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to form concrete and lay concrete blocks for buildings.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
