What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Planner position at Austin Industrial?
The Electrical Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling the activities, materials, and resources needed to execute maintenance work orders as part of the maintenance planning and execution work process.
This is a fulltime maintenance opportunity. There is no per diem and no relocation funding.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter plans into maintenance work orders by developing a list of tasks with detailed scope of work with the necessary steps required to perform each task and complete the work order.
- Scope out the job and assemble a bill of material.
- Procure all required material, outside contract services, rental equipment, and specialized tools
- Assemble maintenance job packages.
- Walk down the job with various crafts personnel, as required.
- Perform equipment quality audits to identify and document job requirements.
- Identify specific hazards associated with planned activities.
- Plans all maintenance and turnaround work; estimates time and resources, and assists with scheduling work.
- Assists in planning long range and short range maintenance activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Experience – 5 years of maintenance planning in an Industrial setting.
No Per Diem and no relocation funding.
Must pass drug screen and background check, as a condition of employment.
