Mechanical Planner

The Mechanical Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling preparation, analysis, updates, progress reporting, as built schedules, recovery schedules, technical support and tracking earned value on projects. Other duties may be assigned.

THIS IS A FULL TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION WORKING 40 HOURS PER WEEK WITH SOME OVERTIME.

NO PER DIEM AND NO RELOCATION FUNDING.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience

1. Mechanical

2. Process Piping

3. Structural

4. Microsoft Office and Components (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

5. Estimating

6. P6 Schedules(Reading and dealing with not making)

Duties

1. Isometric Reviews

2. BOM Reviews

3. Job scope breakdown into units for estimating

4. Job Estimating

5. Manpower breakdowns for jobs

6. P6 scheduling with customer for projects

7. Project controls, cost tracking per projects

8. Material procurement for projects

9. Sub-contractor setup in certain areas like NDE, Material bending, heat treat things like that.

10. Assist PM with Monthly and Bi-Monthly reporting

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education:

Certification/License: NCCER Pipefitter is preferred; NCCER Supervisor is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of Eight (8) years of cumulative experience.
