Varsity Boys Soccer Coach

Austin Prep, a Catholic independent school located in Reading, Massachusetts about 15 miles north of Boston invites nominations, expressions of interest and applications for a Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach, beginning the Fall of 2024. The position reports to the Director of Athletics. Austin Prep is a proud member of the NEPSAC. The Department of Athletics at Austin Preparatory School is seeking a Boys Varsity Soccer Coach for the 2024-2025 school year. The Head Coach will oversee the entire boys soccer program including administrative, instructional and support services under the direction of the Director of Athletics. Job Responsibilities: 1.Oversees the management, coaching and development of the Boys Soccer program. 2.Available for all practices and competitions, weekdays and weekends. 3.Builds a varsity and sub-varsity regular season schedule with the Athletic Department. 4.Institutes practice plans and game management. 5.Provide guidance and assistance to student-athletes who have the desire to play college soccer. 6.Performs other specific duties as directed by the Director of Athletics 7.Exemplifies Austin Prep’s core values and mission, both on and off the playing surface. 8.Enforces discipline and encourages sportsmanship like behavior at all times. 9.Responsible for enforcing the rules set forth by the NEPSBSA and the NEPSAC. 10.Passes all state background check requirements. 11.Flexible schedule capable of accommodating time demands of the position. 12.Game and Rule knowledge 13.Hiring of varsity and sub-varsity staff.
